TV personality Gail Porter has been announced as the new ambassador for personal insolvency practitioners Creditfix, where she will be raising awareness of the effects of personal debt by sharing her own experiences of struggling with finances.

Porter commented 'Often the problem with debt is you can be too proud, scared or just don't know where to turn... Having been through this, I would encourage anyone who feels scared to reach out for support, whether that is through friends and family or professional help'.
